The weekend is the time I like to be carefree, and without the wigs and lace fronts. I shampoo and deep condition my hair weekly, and my tresses love me for it. Although Im wearing my natural hair, I find that if my hair is in two strand twists, I tend to wear it pinned away. I think I will rock a twist out for one day and then go back to wearing my wigs for shear convenience. What is your hair care routine for your natural hair and or while wearing wigs or lace front wigs?
This updo is simple but very cute! I often attempt to recreate these two strand twist that I see but my hair is so thin when twisted...lol. Guess Ill just continue to admire what I see. =)
ReplyDelete@Vee Yea girl I always keep it simple. I wish I could whip this hair into something extra fabulous, I just don't have that skill set lol .
ReplyDeleteThanks for checkin for the blog. *hugs
Im rockin a TWA right now so since it's a little chilly outside I'v been wearing beanies with a nice pair of earrings.
ReplyDeleteThis style is cute!!
ReplyDeleteIm trying to venture out of doing twists all the time though. I love them, but Im going to challenge myself to at least learn how to canrow my hair (or flat twists hehe let me not jump way out of comfort zone . . . )
AE, I have been watching a couple of YTers do those fabulous 2strd twist cornrows and I try to do those in between wearing my wigs during the week. Here in Michigan it gets pretty darn cold quicker than where u are so the wigs are my definite 'go to'. However, on the weekend is Poo Day so usually if I have to make a run to the store, the baggy method and a blazin' fur hat is my style on Saturdays until I get back in the house lol!
ReplyDeleteAE, I too am a two strander and am growing extremely bored with them. Typically, I two strand and play with barley hair (which you don't need), when time permits. Wigs are definitely a go to for me, but I am considering a nice shape-up for styling purpose. There are some really cute styles coming from a couple of Youtubers like missglamour???? and BlackOnyx. And then there is the ole faithful scarf. I like what you are doing with this green one.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE... I know that I can rock my 2 stand twists, but my twist being wrapped up in a ball does not look like that... Maybe when they get longer.
ReplyDeleteI love this look! I'm just getting to the point where I can pull my twists up into a small bun on top of my head. I'm going to try this look today!
ReplyDeleteCant wait till my hair gets that long...i can almost pony up with wet hair..lol love the makeup look.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this...I love that chiffon like head band! And the color is perfect. I can't wait until I am able to bun. I made 9 months natural (12/20/11) I attempted a bun and it was so small it disappeared lol....hopefully in a few months I will be able too! And I love those glasses. I have so many vintage glasses I need to place my prescription in I can't wait !
