NON- STRIPPING SHAMPOOS FOR NATURAL HAIR

Sulphate- free, all natural , clarifying I've tried them all. Shampoos!  I've found two that are near and dear to my heart. I can't stand when a shampoo claims to leave your hair "soft", "moisturized" and "manageable" and all you get is squeaky clean straw-like hair strands. I've added two shampoos to my holy grail list. I shampoo weekly, because I use products that cause build up so I like to have my hair clean from product but still soft, moisturized and easy to style.

Introduced to the V-bar website  from watching youtube videos, the creator of this soap, who ironically goes by,
 V-Bar Lady created a soap that she says her own grandmother used. I'm all for ole' school remedies and concoctions. This soap is simply glycerin soap and Goldenseal.

The Benefits of Goldenseal:
The goldenseal herb is documented as being used for its various medicinal properties and health benefits in Ayurveda, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as by Native Americans.Some of the health benefits and natural remedies of the multipurpose goldenseal herb are as stated below.A goldenseal mixture, when prepared in the ratio 5 ml of herbal tincture / liquid extract to 100 ml of water, can be used for herbal washes in treating skin infections, inflammations like eczema, and measles.

My Experience:
The  soap leaves my feeling very clean and refreshed. The soap does foam and has fluffy sudsing. I keep the soap in a travel soap container that helps preserve the soap longer.   I have ordered twice, the first bar was a little bit softer than my most recent purchase. The consistency of the formulation is in question, and you should purchase after careful consideration. I've used Summer's Eve and other commercial products and this is by far my favorite to use. Be mindful that even though this is an unscented bar soap , it does have a fragrance. The smell isn't that great but it doesn't linger on the skin.
