I came across this blow drying tutorial and was fascinated by the use of Blue Magic Castor Oil grease . I would never think to use grease to blow dry the hair. I always consider grease to be a heavy product, that will weight the hair down. It may have something to do with the amount of product you use. Like I always say, "results don't lie" and her hair turned out absolutely beautiful. Now I don't know how this would work on kinkier hair, so I will first try and blow-dry my hair with a serum . Have you tried this method before?
You go first LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is my fave grease......
ReplyDeleteDo you guys think this method will affect your curl pattern? Prevent full reversion? Act as an actual protectant? I guys it all depends on what your curls can withstand. Her hair looked great straight but I wonder if that's always been her curl pattern or if its been affected by the heat grease combo, heart trained, or heat damaged. But ultimately its her hair, her choice, great results so guess it works for her. But imma wait for your tutorial AE before I five into this lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the intro to a new channel, looks good. Blue Magic...my dad loved this grease and Royal Crown in the red jar. :)
ReplyDeleteImma have to try this!
ReplyDelete5 months without and I needed something for my hur! I'm trying it. :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMs Cherry Im not endorsing the idea, just sharing. The womans hair looks nice, shiny and bone straight. You seem extremely cautious so I would just sleep on the idea :O)
ReplyDeleteThis is actually how I used to blow dry my hair all the time. Didn't get it bone straight, but my hair is kinkier. I would usually follow up with rollers, maybe a braid-out, whatever. Just remember to moisturize before and clarify and moisturize the next time you wash your hair as the blue magic blocks out moisture. :-)
