NATURAL HAIR PRODUCT REVIEW: Le KAIR CHOLESTEROL PLUS

I remember as a kinky headed child my mother would use cholesterols in my hair.  Then, and probably to this day my mother knew very little about doing hair and keeping my hair healthy and well maintained. Water rarely entered the hair care picture, unless it was on wash day. Now rediscovering this product, I have found it to be excellent for kinky and curly hair types. It leaves my  hair soft and super shiny. Mixing additional oils into this product gives maximum results. For less than $2.00 at Wal-mart you can't bet the price with a stick . The product has excellent slip, which makes detangling a breeze.  The smell is OK, but add in some essential oils like lavender, or basil and that remedies that.
This gets 4 out of 5 starts. Pick this up next time your in Wally's and tell me what you think.
Have you tried it and what were your results?

  4. I really like this product an especially for the price! I use it as a DC and leave it for a few minutes to up an hour while doing other stuff around the house. I sometimes sit under the dryer with it. It became a staple when I was on the search for a DC but didn't wan to spend an arm an a leg. I'll be sure to try it with some other oils I have.

  13. My hair and skin are protein sensitive so this product was a big fail for me. My hair immediately felt stripped and hard after applying. It sucks because I just KNEW I was going to get great results. :(

  14. I'm going to get me some of this I used to use it years ago no reason why I stoped but I'm now on a quest to go back to things that work for my hair and they are the "cheap" products that I grew up using. The hype of these all natural products is not worth it for the price. and they make my scalp itch. Lol. Loving the blog AE!! And I'm not a blogging type of girl. Lol.

  15. I used this years ago when I first went natural. I stopped using it because I am a sucker for products that smell extremely good and this really didn't have a smell. I may have to try it again sometime in the future because I don't remember what effect it had on my hair.

  17. Do you find any issues with it retaining the moisture in your hair since it contains alcohol and mineral oil? Aren't those bad for natural hair?

But I dont want to just stop using everything I was using just because its not all natural and whatnot. So thanks for sharing your thoughts once again. Many Blessings ::)
