REVIEW:
The product felt great in my hands. It was creamy and slippery, just as I like my leave in conditioners to be. The slip in the product felt oily and glycerin rich. High glycerin content in hair products leave my hair soft, but has the tendency to be greasy . I had no greasy feeling with this product.  I was unable to locate the retail value of the product. (will update once found) .  I would give the product 3.5-4 stars. It does what it says, but I'm not totally convinced it's the best product for my hair or even in my top 5, but I know many people will like this product because it does yield good results.

REVIEW:
Can we say total fail for me. This product has a weird consistency, its like a very thick creme gel that is paste-like. I think that the product may be revered by looser curled ladies. Although it's geared/marketed towards "Very curly" and "zig zag coiled" hair I think that the product would only be useful for twist out and braid out styles. In that case I know there are tons of other products that will give you similar results without the Mizani price tag. This product caused flaking, but I'm due for a clarifying wash . I would give this 3 stars only because I'm hopeful and certain that SOME others will like it. It's just not for me.

  1. I have been natural for a year and half. I never done the big chop, I have wore protective styles until I had a good length and cut off my permed ends. Im still struggling to find what products my hair love...do that sound crazy?:) I don't know what im doing wrong or not just doing. (So im back to a sew in.) My hair also have a lack of shine to me. Do you have any recommendations for me? Also what can I do to add shine to my hair?

  2. Deep conditioning will help with the condition of your hair. I try to do this weekly or every 2 weeks. Coconut oil is AWESOME for shine, it even can be used as a per conditioning treatment for the hair before you shampoo. Olive oil is also good. The hair should be conditioned often, basically when needed. If your hair feels dry, then it is . Condition/ moisturize and seal with an oil. Girl my hair is like the desert, I have to water every 2-3 day in the shower (drenched)

  7. So .... what would make your top five list
(for 2011)? Maybe you can do a future blog and/or yt video on your "favorite things" for 2011.. Or maybe your "unfavorite things" of 2011.

    Just a thought from a subbie 8-)
    Peace and Blessings,

  8. @Cindy. I will definitely do something like that. I think that will help a lot, there are some great products about there, and some that suck

  9. @Vanisha, you know what I tried recently from that line that maybe you will like.. it was the MIZANI H20 Rose.. i did a review on it myself.. and I like it.. I really was giving it the side eye because of the price .. but as a light moisturizer.. it is fine. I think that will be all that I will try from the line.. (check it out when you get a chance, http://emilycottontop.blogspot.com/2011/12/review-mizani-rose-h20-conditioning.html)
