NATURAL HAIR TWISTED UP

So I decided to give the wigs a small break, just to play in my hair, and see what it's been doing underneath the cap. Can I say that I miss it ? NO! Not at this time. I think by the new year I will have my fill of the wigs for a while. My twists are done on freshly washed and conditioned hair. I used the Elasta QP line of products and will do a review on the blog soon. Layering moisture is important so I start with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), then layered Blue Magic's Leave in conditioning cream, and then sealed with their Coconut Conditioner (grease).  Y'all know I don't like twists, but the textured take down is worth it. <Bottom: Left > First Day Twist out   <Bottom: Right> Second day hair with jumbo twists at night.

  4. I feel ya AE... I've been protective styling with wigs and now with OG box braids and I'm good. I'm enjoying the range. I'm thinking my next PS will be a sew in... something long and silky so I can whip it! But ALWAYS remembering to keep MY HAIR well moisturized and being gentle.

  13. I'm definitely apart of the kinky fine hair crew. I like how your not afraid to use grease. I'm going to pick me up some with the quickness because my hair loves coconut oil. I love your natural hair.

@Chantal yea I can pretty much get results with what I have around the house. Getting to the place where you KNOW your hair is great.
