TURNING YOUR VISION INTO REALITY WITH VISION BOARDS

Now I have a vision board ( on my computer) that helps me to remain focused. Focused on my goals, dreams and future aspirations.  Forward thinking women and men should take the time to write down the things they want out of life. Vision boards and other self motivating concepts , in my opinion keep individuals on task and motivated. Since watching a fellow vlogger recommend VisionBoardSite , I've managed with just a few simple words and pictures, to keep myself on track, focused and with a positive frame of mind. Whether a person is extremely religious, spiritual or struggling with religion the benefit of a vision board is unmeasurable. Taking a few minutes out of my day to remind myself of my greater purpose in life, coupled with quiet mediation and or prayer keeps negative thinking at bay. Do you have a vision? Do you have something to remind you of that vision? Check out the website and let me know if you create a board for yourself. Having it on your desktop is a great idea or if your crafty cut and paste images of things you WILL accomplish . Here is an example of a vision board that shared some of the same goals as myself.

  1. I actually have three in my home, I am a big believer in vision boards. Each time they change as every year my vision may be altered a bit, but I have to have them around. One of them even got featured in a book about vision boards (another one is my actual blog header). I think these are crucial in having your goals right there in front of you, front and center. FOCUS is key!

  2. I created a Vision Board the other day by scanning magazines and cutting out pictures of whatever grabbed my attention, while contemplating on what I really wanted in my life. Amazingly, even with the random things I chose, they all made a big picture of important things I need to focus on right now...This is new for me, So I am hoping to gain a positive experience from it....Come to think of it, a virtual one sounds cool too!

  3. Thank for this post! I've been wanting to do a vision board ever since I seen Oprah mention it somewhere...btw...whom I adore. I have so many goals and aspirations that I WILL (positive thinking) accomplish within the next 5 years written on sticky notes and notepaper scattered throughout my home. This is a huge reminder to go ahead and get that vision board done. Thanks!!

  7. I created my visionboard just before the spring equinox. Spring is supposed to be the true new year. I created it on my pc and have as a wall paper on my phone. It really has helped me so much! I haveca hard time sticking to one goal until i reach it. Sometimes I give up. I really love the idea of the visionboard.

  8. Vision board parties are a hit! A group of friends, associates, like minded individuals get together. bring snacks, crafts, magazines and get to work. Laughter, advice, fun and conversation. Then each shares their board. This not only lets you get your goals on paper, but you speak it out loud to others and a sense of accountability is felt. Awesome!
