ALL NATURAL FEMININE HEALTH- SOAP FOR THE VAGINA

Introduced to the V-bar website  from watching youtube videos, the creator of this soap, who ironically goes by,
V-Bar Lady created a soap that she says her own grandmother used. I'm all for ole' school remedies and concoctions. This soap is simply glycerin soap and Goldenseal.

The Benefits of Goldenseal:
The goldenseal herb is documented as being used for its various medicinal properties and health benefits in Ayurveda, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as by Native Americans. Some of the health benefits and natural remedies of the multipurpose goldenseal herb are as stated below.A goldenseal mixture, when prepared in the ratio 5 ml of herbal tincture / liquid extract to 100 ml of water, can be used for herbal washes in treating skin infections, inflammations like eczema, and measles.

Female / Women Issues

Another of the health benefits of goldenseal is in aiding with female issues - certain chemical substances in goldenseal help regulate the menstrual cycle in women.

A mixture, prepared by adding 2 - 3 ml of goldenseal tincture / liquid extract to water, can be used as a douche for curing leucorrhea and other forms of vaginal infections. It can also be used with rosewater in the ratio 5 ml to 100 ml to cure vaginal irritation and itching.

The V-Bar Description :

V-Bar is an all natural holistic soap that helps to prevent foul odors, infections, itching, burning, sweat, and all other issues women have with there vagina...This soap is specially made for women who are very sensitive and are looking for a soap that is non-frangrance. It's available in small, medium sizes and by the loaf. The price range is from $6.00 - $46.00.

V-Bar Benefits:

Helps with bad odors from sweating during a workout, for those who love seafood (which exits out of the vagina), for those who wear fitted cloths and spanks , stockings, jeans and other materials that causes odor and those going through menopause sweats.

My Experience:
The  soap leaves my feeling very clean and refreshed. The soap does foam and has fluffy sudsing. I keep the soap in a travel soap container that helps preserve the soap longer.   I have ordered twice, the first bar was a little bit softer than my most recent purchase. The consistency of the formulation is in question, and you should purchase after careful consideration. I've used Summer's Eve and other commercial products and this is by far my favorite to use. Be mindful that even though this is an unscented bar soap , it does have a fragrance. The smell isn't that great but it doesn't linger on the skin.

  1. I'm not gonna lie, I nearly spit out my water when I saw the title of your December Favorites video, and saw the words "vagina soap." Just KIR. But, I have to say I am really glad that I watched, and I appreciate all the info you've shared here. It's true that most people (including me) can get a bit squeamish when discussing feminine hygiene, but it is an issue that needs to be addressed. And, the use of goldenseal in this particular type of soap makes total sense, because goldenseal is also used as an herbal remedy for bladder and uninary infections (along with cranberry), so it seems like this herb is generally a good thing for...that area. Thanks, as always, AE for never shying away from any topic!

  2. @Nefertiti Yes feminine hygiene, and cleanliness is so important, I wished it was discussed more when I was younger. I didn't start understanding my body until my early twenties. I can only imagine what its like to not get those conversations

  3. I was always told that using any type of soap down there was bad considering that the vagina is a self cleaning machine. But I guess since this is ALL NATURAL, I will look into it.
Thanks and continue to do the damn thang! ;-)

  9. Growing up, we were friends with a family from Trinidad that drank Golden Seal tea for the same thing. It is very bitter and works better with honey than sugar. It also cleanses the colon out very well.

  10. I'm willing to give this product a try. I have used vaginal soap from china before; which I loved, but due to my money flow, I can't afford to get it and they have went up in price. Idk if its the fact that my body is changing or what, but I can't even use dove sensitive skin soap anymore. So thanks for the look out for the sisters!!!

  11. I am a die hard Summer's Eve Feminine product Stan. I also use SE's Feminine Hygiene spray. I've been using these products for at least 20 years, maybe more. But, I'm willing to try this soap because it would be nice to use an all natural product in that area.

This was the type of stuff I was reading on health blogs and hearing from doctors.

But then again, it's whatever you feel comfortable with. Whatever makes you feel fresh.
