WE ALL KNOW A "FANTASIA" THAT NEEDS A WENDY W. HEART TO HEART!

"She can do so much better." Almost every woman,  says this about close friends, collegues and family. Fantasia's story is all to common. Wendy Williams didn't spare Fantasia the ugly outsider's view, and  tell her what she wanted to hear. If you truly care, "keep it real" as I alway say. Do you think Wendy was tactful? Either way, Fantasia like most hard-headed, "like to learn the hard way" types, will do what she wants to do. All the talent in the world, plus the anointed voice gifted from God,  cant save a self destructive, woman who doesn't know her worth.

  1. I feel like what Wendy said was on point.I also feel that Fantashia maybe feeling very foolish about the choices she has been making.

  2. Sorry to say but Wendy was dead on it(that's just me). My bff's have heart to hearts like that all the time. I think it will hurt Fantasia a little more b/c it was done on TV...I'm just saying.

  3. Word! I watched the 'hot topics' today. I agree with Wendy and I know a "Fantasia"

  4. Now, that's real talk! Tactful with no sugar-coating. More people need to hear it and tell it just like this. Direct and to the point....my favorite kind of communication!

  5. Wendy "hit the nail on the head" with that 'big sister to little sister' talk. As my mother always said, "there's no promise in a married man." She needs go ahead and hold him accountable for the child support (because she didn't get pregnant alone) and chalk it up to experience, raise her child, work and move on. Hopefully someday, 'Antoine' will realize he needs to be in that child's life and that he is responsible, because no matter how the child got there, the child is there and he/she needs its father as well. Be Blessed All!

  6. wow... im lost for words but Wendy is right she didnt need to be tactful or anything.. When she put herself in that position she knew what she was getting herself into and parading him like that is a definite 'no no'. separated certainly does not make him available he is still betrothed to someone else. Those vows are said for a reason not to be used lightly she needs to know her worth and start thinking about her career and most importantly her new baby boy. Regardless i wish her all the best and congratulations on becoming a mom..

  7. Wendy wasn't wrong. Wendy was talking from the heart & that was coming from someone that deeply cares for one person talking to another. More talks are needed but even some of us as friends just watch, don't say nothing & talk about that supposed friend behind her back. It might hurt now but Fantasia will appreciate that is years to come...hopefully. With age come wisdom & Wendy was speaking from lessons she has learned or seen.

  8. Wendy's just repeating just about what EVERYONE else (well, what I believe was everyone else anyways) was saying about this situation from the moment she tried to overdose on some pills. Being a homewrecker can be disastrous, and it almost always is. In the end, it backfired and now you're suffering the consequences. She has such a beautiful voice and has so much talent. She is worth SO much more. If only she could see that and start making the decisions that will ultimately benefit her and show the world that she does, in fact, has self-love and self-respect.

  9. Big sister little sister talk... Please..Thats what a phone/email is for.Im sorry Wendy Williams not the one to have the morally correct talk with any one.SHE HAS NO TACT WHAT SO EVER. I COULD NOT STAND HER ON THE RADIO. She is not talking from the heart anyone that is your so called friend You pull them off to the side or again use the PHONE..YES Fantasia should do better in her decisions , but for Wendy to blast her on tv as a so called "big sister" is wrong. AND WHO SAYS THE TABLOID IS TRUE. MY POINT IS WE ALL HAVE MADE BAD CHOICES BEFORE WE HAVE THAT SO CALLED BIG SISTER TALK, MAKE SURE WE ARE AT A POINT IN OUR LIVES MORALLY TO DO SO!!!

  10. and lets keep it real Ms. wendy .. Did you or would you call Ms Alicia Keys out like that on her affair?? Because swizz beats was legally still married...Anyway, I think Fantasia is more of a "hot topic" because her affair had more controversy. So again that had nothing to do with her love for Fantasia.

  11. Although Tasia was dead wrong in this situation, I don't judge her too harshly because I think she is completely lost when it comes to relationship ships. She's a broken woman, who cant hear her own conscience clearly because her head is filled with screams of self doubt, and MAJOR insecurities. I recall when she spoke of how Antoine said things she had never heard before, things like " your beautiful"... She needs to look in the mirror, except what she cant change and love herself. Now she has the stress of being a single mother of two children, and gaining her spot in the public eye. I hope she seeks professional help from a therapist. Hell we all could use a lil therapy. I genuinely want better for her. I guess I relate and sympathize with the strife of single motherhood

  12. yes i so agree that she made bad choices.(dont we all) However, if it was coming from Oprah I would respect it more. But Wendy seems more about self gain then reaching out to the lost or confused. But can anyone confirm that she is reaching out to this baby daddy or hoping for marriage?

  13. Tactful or not Tasia needed to hear this.

  14. Wendy was truthful. But let's be even more truthful, a lot of the applause and "amens" are coming from many whose choices are no different from Fantasias. The live in boyfriend/girlfriend people call the "fiance" as if that elevates it, the immoral lifestyles, the live-in period, much less with children in the home, the eternal "engagement" but never marrying. Etc. I'm sorry, "wishing" doesn't make these any different from Fantasia.

  15. Although I'm not a fan of this show, what she said is so dead on. Tactful, yes. She kept it real and honest. I'm disappointed in Fantasia! She knows better and should not have done what she did. I would've said the same thing if I were her friend. It would be so funny if Fantasia got married and a woman cheated on with her husband...

  16. Wendy is so right. I like Fantasia but she's wrong. I hope she starts making better choices for herself. It's so sad what she's doing to herself

  17. Yes we all make errors in judgment; however, we are doomed to repeat them if we don’t learn from them. Also, I think it is a cop out to say she doesn’t know her worth or that she’s single mother or that’s she’s a broken woman. And? No one I know is without issues. However, our issues have nothing to do with knowing the difference between right and wrong. Fantasia has a moral compass that she refuses to use. In every action she took, she knew exactly what she was doing and that there would consequences, but she didn’t care because she was only thinking of herself. We all have been in this position called selfishness. However, we need to stop making excuses for it, and start holding each other accountable. And that’s the type of conversation Wendy should have had with her ‘lil sister’ in PRIVATE, not in public.

  18. i thought she was right on point and kept it real

  19. Wendy was spot on but I wish she would have held him just as responsable for this mess.

  20. see i say this out of love but you got to get the hood out of you when you get to a certain age, and certain positioning in your life..... if you don't you'll look a hot mess and/or the gossip column becomes your life coach lol

  21. you are so right Alicia keys got praise from the married and single, and no matter whoo this came from (oprah or wendy)its for ratings what new and whats hot.... now the question is would you have the same concern without the show?! But fantasia is a grown womean who is depressed and insecure and this is a perfect example that money may make things easier but it will not buy happiness!

  22. @TransthruRev I don't want to make excuses for her, but the things people will find themselves doing for attention or for "love" isn't far from what Fantasia did. She definitely knew what she was doing was wrong, but she didn't want to be right. She wanted a relationship and she wanted love, even if he wasn't available to her. Now was she lied to ?, probably. Manipulated? Probably. If you don't have your mind and self in check things like this, and men like Antoine can creep in like a thief in the night and get you caught up lol

  23. @Tinka I want her to do better, because Im in love with her as an artist. She is sooo talented and raw, I get chills errrrrtime

  24. @Unknown You know wha,t I've heard the argument and comparison between America's sweetheart Alicia and the Idol of America (that no one wanted) Fantasia. Both women were irresponsible, selfish, and dumb for playing with someone else's husband. For some reason Alicia was never persecuted the way Fantasia was. However, I will look at PUBLIC track records. Fantasia doesn't stand a chance against the opinions of the world. Single, teen mom, high school drop out, was illiterate, dating a married man PUBLICLY. Alicia on the other hand keep most of her skeletons in the closet, even though she likes to screw with other women's men too. SMH

  25. @MZClassy You are right about Wendy lol and honestly if they were as close as Wendy made it seem, she knows she could've handled it on Skype or the phone, but Wendy knew what she was doing. Fantasia also seems like a person, especially from the reality show that she doesn't listen to anyone, she is hard-headed. So Wendy probably figures, "look here, whether you like me or not after this shit, you NEED to hear this, so here it goes" BAM..... IN YOUR FACE.... THE TRUTH... THE WHOLE UGLY TRUTH. Deal, digest, and redirect your path in life honey

  26. I'm on the fence with this one. Does Fantasia need to get checked, YES! Was Wendy's "Big Sister to Little Sister" on-air blast the right way? I'm siding with @MZClassy on that. Buuut would Fantasia listen if it was a private conversation or just accuse Wendy of being a hater? Probably would have. At the end of the day, I loves me some Tasia and I really want her to receive all the blessing that's divinely hers. From CandidAnn to Tashia... You've come to far baby girl. You are worthy! Your kids are watching, God's watching and we all see how beautiful you are. Why can't you see what we all see?

  27. I can agree with Wendy but she could have told her over a glass of wine...IN PRIVATE. My thing is why you want to marry a man who is separated from his wife? lol It's clear the man doesn't want to be in a marriage. Idk the whole story so I'm not going to go completely ham on her because the man was separated. I can relate cause I am separated myself, I don't even know where my ex husband is at and I ain't got the bread to finish filing and gotdamnit....I be wanting to get my freak on.... anyhoo...lol I digress. She shouldn't expect too much. Let the man know he is welcome to be a father. Let the man know that his financial support on THEIR child is welcome and needed and go make her a few albums and push the hell on. She will come "full circle". We all as women (especially me) Have to remember that all women don't REALIZE their worth.*like Vanisha said* once she realize what a beautiful woman she is WITHOUT some man telling her she is.....she will arrive and look for a man that is higher than her OR on her level...not below her.

  28. I personally think Wendy was as tactful as she could be in addressing Fantasia. While this could have been done in a private phone call instead of on national television; it needed to be said. Sometimes close friends and family will try to justify their loved ones actions eventhough they know they are DEAD WRONG. We all mess up, we all make bad choices and we need to be held accountable or we'll never learn how to live a positive, successful life.

  29. Well,Dang ... I kinda don't know what to say... but Wendy spoke the harsh truth... I ain't gone lie. I guess will see if Fantasia will listen in public if she didn't listen in private the 1st time. SMH...

  30. You know, I am not even mad at Wendy. She said nothing wrong and maybe if FANTASIA was embarrassed in front of the world, maybe she could get her act together. How many of us who wish in a million years to have gotten the opportunity that Fantasia has gotten? We would be working our butts off. Instead of being focused, Fantasia is being the hottest of all messes. I am with Wendy. Tell it like it is!

  31. As sad as this may seem, what wendy williams said is the truth. Anddd what vanisha said is also true...we all know a fantasia that needs a heart to heart talk. You can give as much advice as you want but if a woman doesn't know her Self worth..its a waste of time. I hope fantasia begins to understand that she Is beautiful and she deserves more..

  32. Im late b/c I didnt even know she was pregnant. I feel bad that she has to go through this publicly.
