  2. Hilarious!! I get this ALL the time. My coworker once asked another (natural) woman and I if we were talking about straightening our hair. Then went on to say "Everybody wants what, they can't have...I just feel so blessed to not have to deal with your kind of hair. Having to deal with your hair seems to be so time consuming, there are so many other things you could be doing....." We chose to ignore the ignorant... :)

  4. Thank God, no one ever says any of that to my face. I have been called nigger before, but the girl who said it was homeless, drunk, and smoking her last cigarette. So, I couldn't even be insulted enough to respond. She was obviously jealous. Smh

  5. Had a supervisor that used to say just anything. She once told a coworker who was wearing a red dress (and of course was black) that she looked like "Little Red Riding Hood" from the hood. O_o

  9. This is hilarious, that's in part because I've been told some of these remarks. One that tops the books, "I like greens so my parents asked was I black in a previous life..." REALLY?!!!!!???

Got to love who we are everyone of all shades and colors...

  10. I am notorious formy head wraps. So one day a co worker told me in the nicest, most genuine, seemingly well meaning manner that I looked like a "sassy aunt jemima" with my hair like that. -_-
